The Badger Report is a collaborative effort from the students in Journalism 419 Electronic News for the Web and Broadcast. The course turns into a working newsroom, where students research, write, videotape, edit and produce a weekly newscast.

The class, taught by instructor Pat Hastings, has evolved from being a traditional television news course into one that focuses on video storytelling, while also developing a multimedia approach to reporting.
